AFTER BOOK 7!!!

Hermione has mom hair!

I always forget that the Harry Potter timeline takes place in the 1990s -- and a lot of people making fanart dress them up in these fashionable muggle clothes (not to mention the movies).

But, sad to say -- the wizarding world isn't very adept at muggle fashion -- AND the golden trio were right about the time of Saved by the Bell and Degrassi High. Scary!

Since many moms lose track of fashion, I thought Hermione might herself, especially since she's not much in the muggle community anymore.

This is my little tribute to that.

Here are the outfits, if they didn't make sense... I realize I might have made it too subtle (if only it was the 80s!):

Hugo:
The Princeton hairstyle! Rock solid, baby.
Power Rangers t-shirt - Go! Go!
Bicycle shorts!!
Hiking boots with the tall white socks!

Rose:
Straw Hat with ugly Sunflower!
Shapeless striped shirt!
Skirt over jeans!
HIGHWATER FLARES!
Lacey socks and mary janes

Hermione:
Midriff white t-shirt
TAN PLEATED SUSPENDER JUMPSUIT

Ron:
FLANNEL PLAID!
Stone wash, ripped jeans a la Grunge. Rockin' it.

Oh my God what terrible memories have resurfaced.

I always got teased in school because I wasn't up on the latest fashions.

But years later, looking back, I realize...

I WAS RIGHT, BITCHES!! >:]

Okay, so there were the flower-embroidered jeans and the tye-dye Tweetie Bird shirt. I was trying to fit in, okay?! Don't judge me!!

(Awesome comic, BTW. I like Ron in panel 3, well done!
