This is an art trade for the amazing :iconsuburbanbeatnik: -- two of her characters, the mysterious dress maker's assistant Miss M, and Prince Frederick, son of George II.

They are in mid dance, the Allemande, to be exact. This move is something along the lines of "looking through the window", and I hope in some way it looks like you're looking through a window to look at them looking through a window... :D

Lots of watching dances, and going to back to reference images and sketches she did. -- I seriously hope I got this right!

Prince Frederick's outfit is based off a portrait of his.

Done in: pencil, Manga Studio, Photoshop
textures from: ~masterjinn

Simply stunning!
What everybody else have said pretty much sums up what I think about this.
Definitely a fav.

The colors are beautiful and I like the very subtle line work. You've chosen a great pose, I love how their arms frame her face and guide our eye over to his.

Gotta comment again. I love this so much! I showed it to my collaborator and she said it was "really lovely"!

Hey, I don't suppose there's any way you can turn it into a wallpaper? :D

I'll try! Thursday is one of my busy days, but I'll definitely fool around with it when I get the chance.

:( I had to recreate it a little, since it didn't quite fit in a 1024 x 768. But I'm uploading it now!
